| Introduction | When I first started my blog this was me: I am a 40ish-year-old wife and mom. I love raising and taking care of my family, DH, and two sons, 11 and 7. We live in the UP of MI, where we enjoy nature at it's best, but endure winters that last a LONG time. We have 23 acres of land. We have a small garden, 2 dogs, 1 indoor cat and 11 chickens. An update: Now I am a 50ish-year-old daughter of God, wife to my hubby of 23+years, mom to two sons 17 and 21. A caretaker of my Grandmother, who lives in our home. I am a full-time student in a Master's of Art program in Human Services. We are looking for our next dog, we have a cat and 2 chickens. |
