Introduction I portray a widow as a Civil War reenactor, whose husband died in 1859, so I stay in half-mourning at all of the reenactments. This gives me time to explore my love of jewelry, because I can work on Victorian re-creations while speaking to spectators. I have a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Texas with a concentration in Photojournalism, which is where I developed my strong interest in the history of photography. I also have a Master of Arts in Public Relations from the University of Maryland and a Master of Arts in State and Local History from Eastern Michigan University. I am a Certified Genealogist, certified by the Board for Certification of Genealogists (http://www.bcgcertification.org). And, I am a retired U.S. Marine Corps Major with 20 years of service.
Interests Civil War Reenactor, Historian, Genealogist. Jewelry designer and maker
