| Introduction | I am a Pinay-American who grew up in Manila, studied and worked in Boston and NYC and am now running a maternal health nonprofit in Puerto Princesa, Palawan. The last few years have brought a lot of change, what with starting Roots of Health and having kids. These days I spend a lot of time trying to find the best balance between being a wife, mom, daughter, sister, friend, and head of my own organization. I don’t always get as much sleep as I’d like but generally life is interesting and full and I am thankful for so many blessings. |
