| Introduction | was given the name Ami, a Hindu mantra meaning “Divine Nectar” by her Kundalini Yoga teacher. The name pronounced (Uh-mi) is a name she cherishes and holds dear to her heart. Ami is the owner/founder of the Colonic Institute, Gmonkey & G-zen and goes by the name DETOX DIVA. She is an IACT Colon Hydrotherapist, Certified Holistic Nutritionist from Integrative School of Nutrition (IIN in NYC), Certified Raw Foods Chef, Aromatherapist, Ayurvedic Practioner who's passion for sharing information, research, knowledge, world experiences, travel and healing in the world is her ultimate calling and lifes purpose. She is married world renowned Vegetarian Chef MArk Shadle, co-owner of G-Zen in Branford CT. Mark and Ami live at Shadle Farm in Durham CT that is a sustainable organic farm that is fully solar powered and where they grow and compost much of the ingredients that are used in both Gmonkey and at G-Zen. She is currently working on two non fiction books focusing on Anti-aging, Holistic lifestyle, Detoxification and Self empowerment. Her book, "Nectar in the Raw" will be published sometime in the upcoming year. |
