Introduction	Welcome to my blog. I go by the name Big Brother. I am the leader of Oceania and the one you all know and love. I understand your needs better than you do and I provide you with more than you need. My wish is for you to have employment, food, water, the news, and also to live equally. I have lead this society to many victories and kept the citizens of Oceania safe. Oceania’s biggest enemy is Goldstein but fear not as I am working against him in order to guard our society. One thing I would like you to keep in mind are these phrases. WAR IS PEACE. FREEDOM IS SLAVERY. IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH. War is good because it keeps us out of harm’s way. War is what guards us from threats such as Goldstein and what makes peace and serenity. If you were free from me you wouldn’t be living as comfortable as you are now. As a matter of fact, without me you’d be lost and would have no means of protection. The less you know about a situation, the better it is for you. Big Brother is always here, watching, protecting, and ensuring your happiness.
