Mostly self taught, he studied pastels in Paris with Jean-Pierre Mérat, president of the Société des Pastellistes de France and drawing at the venerable Circulo de Bellas Artes de Madrid (Spain). He has also studied abstract painting with Marsha Steiger at the Art League of Alexandria, Va. Lin’s work is found in many collections in the USA, Europe and South America.
