| Introduction | I am a 56 yrs. old mother of two grown up children, who I have brought up almost single-handed & enjoyed doing it. I held a job at a Bank in India for 32 yrs. & retired voluntarily 'coz there was "no time to stand & stare." Over the yrs., learnt about being a mother, a cook-cum-housekeeper for the family & handling & planning finances. Fate has taught me enough lessons in crisis & tragedy and how to value happiness & laughter. I have an independent streak which has been a boon. Most of the recipes that I shall put on this blog are my own concoction, as are the ideas put forth for child-rearing. Hope this blog helps every reader in their everyday lives. |
