| Introduction | Happily embracing my forties. Being a single mom is so much easier now that the kids are grown and out of the house, who knew? The best part of an empty nest is the quiet, unless of course its my music blasting through the speakers. |
| Interests | John Cusack movies, river fishing, camping, vacations, road trips, on the beach in the sun reading a Stuart Woods, John Grisham, Janet Yvanovich or other mystery to do with law or bounty hunters. I think I would like to be a bounty hunter, or gun for hire, but, I will probably have to learn to shoot first. |
| Favorite Movies | The movie I have watched more times than I can say, and I know line by line is The Princess Bride. Big John Cusack fan, and Better off Dead, and Fried Green Tomatoes for my choice of comedies. High Fidelity is my favorite break-up movie. A great classic "women empowerment" movie is The Women |
| Favorite Books | Again, The Princess Bride. I picked up the original first edition back in 1987, before I had even heard of the movie and read it in one day, and fell in love. I loaned the book out to someone who never returned it. Years later, I searched for the identical book, and eventually found it online from the Wayward Bookman, in Maine and bought it for $25, my penance for taking the book in the first place, I guess. I now keep it in a safe place in my house, and I will not lend it ever again - to anyone. |
