Sponges and tongues are frequently misspelled. Is it because both are thirsty?

um? idk misspelled is also frequently misspelled because people miss the second s. I didn't no u could misspell sponges or tongues. unless ur kinda dumb. tongues i could understand but SPONGES? lol
