| Introduction | I was born without a bit of my leg and my right foot. I was told I would never run, ride, skate or drive; apparently doctors can get it wrong. I used to hold an amputee record in running. I am aiming to represent Australia next year in cycling at the World Champs. My 10th birthday party was an ice-skating bonanza. I have had a manual license for 6 years.... A little bit more? I enjoy the burn associated with intense physical activity and having millions of feel-good hormones running around my body after finishing a grueling training session. I may be a slight, or extreme, geek - depends on your point of view. I love dark chocolate, Italian cheese, mangoes, and a glass of red wine. I believe in the power of attitude and living in the moment. |
| Interests | There is a common theme of sport across all facets of my life - I am a dual Paralympian in the sport of swimming with a recent transfer to my new lover - cycling. I am currently studying sport at Deakin University while also working in the sporting industry. |
