| Introduction | I've always loved working with my hands. At a very young age I started by disassembling my toys to figure out how they worked. Of course I always put them back together properly... well most of the time at least. I work as a designer for my 9-5. My passion, recreation, and fulfillment is in hands on projects. As you can see, woodworking is a natural attraction for me. I began my woodworking journey in high school. I apprenticed with a Luthier and began learning the trade of guitar building. While I'd love to make this a full time venture, I feel that I'm not yet called to pursue this full time. In addition to making furniture, I absolutely love using a wood lathe. I love using a metal lathe too for that matter... I believe that my purpose in life is to create. I greatly enjoy sharing my creations with people. Some folks love it, some folks don't; that's just fine, we're all different. I hope you enjoy my work. I look forward to reading your comments and thoughts. Regards, Mike |
