| Introduction | I am just a plain ol' southern gal who has been writing since childhood. I like my readers to be able to 'see' what I try to show them - sort of paint a picture with the words. I want them to really feel the emotions and sometimes get them to think. I want my readers to be left with an impression, to be touched in some way, have something they will remember. After moving from my home state of Georgia to the lower Rocky Mountains of southwestern Colorado in September 2004, I knew I had made a mistake! A change in luck and jobs brought us back to Brunswick in December 2006. In the words of Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, "There's no place like home..." As for personally, I am happily married and the mother to a daughter in college, two sons and step-mom to two daughters. I am also grandma to 2 grandsons and step-grandma to three girls.
