Introduction	I am a speech therapist and minister of the United Reformed Church. I currently work part-time for the URC as Vision4life co-ordinator. For the rest of the time I am a freelance 'speech therapist theologica'. That's a word I made up to indicate the link between speech therapy and ministry in my dual vocation. I do any combination of the two I can make work. Remembering the Bible is just one strategy that I have developed for interpreting the Bible with ordinary people based on this dual interest. I am also interested in parental knowledge about learning to talk. This is the subject of my PhD which was awarded by the University of Sheffield in July 2009. I am a Governor of Silcoates School, Wakefield, which is affiliated to the United Reformed Church.
