Introduction	I'm an ex-pat Brit living in the most expensive county in the most expensive State of the United States. I am the mother of two girls, aged 10 and 5 and a monster 2 yo son. I write to relax and I read a lot. I used to be a science teacher in the UK and I only miss it a little bit. I'm a little plump and am endeavoring to not be. I have views and opinions, like everyone. Maybe some people might be interested in my various ramblings, witterings and rants.

Favorite Movies	The Shawshank Redemption, V for Vendetta, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Princess Bride, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Alien, Strictly Ballroom, Some like It Hot, The Terminator, Schindler's List, Outbreak, GoodFellas, The Matrix, Strange Days, Twelve Monkeys, Monty Python's Life of Brian and The Holy Grail, MIB, LOTR (am I allowed to say The Sound of Music? No? Oh, well...)
Favorite Music	Blur, and Coldplay, Mostly any Baroque, (Vivaldi, Albinoni, Pachelbel etc). Mozart, forget genius - the man was a god, The film scores for Chocolat, Schindler's List, and American Beauty, I'm a sucker for most 80s pop/rock/indie though not the 'spandex and eyeliner' stuff.
Favorite Books	Pratchett's Discworld, Adams's HHGttG, McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern books, Kerr's Deverry series, May's Saga of the Exiles, Feist's Midkemia novels, Rusch's The Fey, Rawn's Sunrunner books.
