| Introduction | To those that know me well starting a blog is probably the last thing on earth I would do. However, my neverending quest to broaden my horizons by keeping up with the newest technology and social networking had me pondering the purchase of *gasp* e reader. After spending an afternoon researching them I settled on the Kindle. With my year of free amazon prime I only had to wait 2 days for it to arrive. I opened it, plugged it in and fell in love. Millions of books at my fingertips..ahhh...With that I decided to dabble a bit and start a blog about my love for cooking and reading to share with friends and family. I warn you though as I am totally a self taught cook and learn mostly from cooking shows, food blogs etc. My book selections vary from classic, romance, mystery,and everything in between. There really is no rhyme or reason to recipes I am currently trying out or books I am reading other than suggestions from friends or an idea sparked by a photo. I hope you enjoy some things I share. |
