| Introduction | I am a little bit ADHD(ok a lot) and I love the medical field in all forms. I have held jobs or currently hold jobs as husband, dad, firefighter, paramedic, lab assistant, ophthalmic tech, ACLS/PALS instructor, amateur writer(published), contstruction ranging from new homes to remodels from roofs to foundations, restaurant worker from dish washer to line cook to server, bridge builder, meat rendering plant cleaner, newspaper mailroom paper-putter-together-guy and on and on. The longest job I've held was paramedic 10 years, the shortest was pouring concrete 1 week. Strange things happen to me for some reason and I like the odd and funny. I believe that irony is the best form of medicine and I sometimes laugh at the most inopportune moments. I possess a story tellers license which gives me the freedom to change names, places and circumstance and otherwise alter facts to make a better story. It's not lying, it's story telling! All names and situations have been altered to protect the innocent. |
