| Introduction | ...We are a group of six who have embarked on a ministry of encouragement to our seniors in local retirement communities. Singing the "old" hymns of yester-year like "He Lives," "Sweet Hour of Prayer," and even a few easy contemporary spirituals like, "Carry Me," we seek to uplift our seniors with the encouraging words of the Bible through song, testimonials, devotionals, and literature that enlightens and encourages. We've seen many of our seniors come to Christ for the first time, and have seen many more fellow Christians strengthened to carry on in the remaining time God has alloted them. This is our goal! To seek the lost, and uplift the saved, regardless of age, reminding them the "twilight years" does not mean that their standing as retirees does not mean a retirement of their spiritual walk with God, as we often say, "God is not through with you yet!" Perhaps, you are like many we minister to - looking for purpose and meaning in life. Whatever your need, we encourage you to seek the only One Who can reveal life as it's meant to be lived - life that is "more abundant." We have, and the days ahead can only be better and brighter. |
