| Introduction | July 20th of 2015 is forever etched in my memory, as this is the day Aaron was diagnosed with Sclerosing Rhabdomyosarcoma- a rare childhood cancer. At that moment, I became a mom of a kid with cancer - WOW! We have traveled the cancer path- dealing with diagnosis, surgery, treatment, and relapse. It is a bumpy road that I wish on no one but it was the path we were given and as a family we chose to travel that path with love, laughter, and faith. We learned the true meaning of "it takes a village". My hope is to share some insights and moments of inspiration that we gained while navigating the path that we did not choose. |
