Introduction	I love genre fiction. Sci-fi, comics, fantasy, horror, alternate histories, even a bit of western - if it's a genre work, I'll give it a shot. Some of it is pretty good. A lot of it is not. I'm wading through the vast swamp that is genre fiction, testing the validity of Theodore Sturgeon's Law and looking for the hidden treasures of genre works, both modern and classic.
