| Interests | I think it is almost always "interested in". I can't think of an example where "interested for" sounds correct. "...developed a passion for" works, but interested uses "in". "I am interested in a vacation package to Italy", for example, would be correct, but not "I am interested for a vacation package". Ah, here's a case where "for" follows "interested", but it is a different construction: "I am interested for many reasons". The "for" is part of "for many reasons", not part of "interested". If I add an object it has to be "in": "I am interested in Italy for many reasons." |
