Introduction	I graduated from UC Davis about 2 years ago with a degree in English. After searching fruitlessly for a job and selling shoes for a few years, I decided to come back to school and pursue a degree in graphic design that would allow me to express my creative side while pursuing a career. My goals for GCOM 361 are to become fluent in the language of web design and to develop some solid portfolio work. While I am a frequent user of the internet, I do not really know what goes in to making a web page so I look forward to learning something completely new.
