Introduction	My name is Kelly Butera. I love nature, animals, traveling, scrap booking, disc golf and photography. My husband and I are avid traveler's and have lived in Australia, France and Canada. I was born and raised in Ohio but have moved around with my husband's work. Currently, we live in Utah and love it. I started hiking for the first time when we moved to France and lived in the French Alpes. While living there, I also enjoyed Via Ferrata another form of rock climbing. We lived in a couple different locations before we ended up in Utah. I wasn't here 2 weeks and was already out exploring the Wasatch Mountains. At first the altitude was an issue but I kept with it and hiked every week. Now I am hiking at least a couple times a week, and I am working on hiking Mt Timpanogos this summer. I am also an Ambassador for Girls Who Hike, UT. Once a month I lead hikes for anyone wanting to join us. If I can't find anyone to hike with, you can always find my dog Max out with me. The point of this blog is to keep a diary of my outings and travels.
