| Introduction | I grew up in the Deep South (as in Carolina) now live in the Shallow South (as in California), and had several stopovers in interesting places along the way. I’m forty; there - I said it. I’m a former so-called career woman, currently a so-called stay-at-home mom, though I seem to spend more time out of the home than in it.
