| Introduction | Wesley Reynolds teaches at Northwood University and holds a PhD in eighteenth century British Atlantic Studies from Central Michigan University in partnership with the University of Newcastle (UK). His previous degrees include a Master of Arts in Early Modern History also from Central Michigan University (2013) and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Thomas Edison State College (2010). Reynolds is a member of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, has served as the director of the residential fellowship at the Russell Kirk Center, and enjoys playing the Scottish Highland bagpipes, performing traditional Irish music, and walking scenic areas.
