| Introduction | I moved to Los Angeles a year ago. Hmm... not to become a star or to even try to spot one. Not even to try to break into the so-called "biz". I avoid pop culture like I avoid touching bathroom door handles. Not surprisingly, what I found here I were fake boobs, crowded freeways, and a whole lot of small, expensive apartments with minor earthquake damage. Since my first days of being helplessly lost, I have come to love L.A. and all of its charms. I have met so many great people here who have welcomed me to this paved paradise. I cannot tell you how lucky I am, even if the palm trees aren't native. |
