| Introduction | Married to my wonderful husband for 38 years! I am a mother of 2 daughters-both graduates of Texas A&M University; both daughters are married blessing us with two fantastic son-in-laws--they are wonderful parents to our three granddaughters and two grandsons. Life presents many challenges for the sandwich generation! |
| Interests | Family, friends, anything related to water-swimming, skiing, boating, sitting by a beach, etc. Reading, traveling, making things new--furniture, houses, spaces, or people. |
| Favorite Movies | Most recently the last "Star Wars", "The Hunger Games", "Bernie", "Due Date", "Proposal" & the "Blind Side", "Avatar", and "It's Complicated". Some favorites "Holiday", "Nights in Rodanthe", "Christmas Vacation", "Despicable Me"and "UP". |
| Favorite Music | Christian, Jazz, Blues, today's country music, Texas country, and good ole' Rock 'n Roll. I'm also a huge fan of Classical Music and enjoy Tcaichovsky's music for the Nutcracker. |
| Favorite Books | The Bible, The Story, Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, mysteries by James Patterson, Nelson Demille, and Tami Hoag and Christian writer Max Lucado. Currently reading Max Lucado's "In the Eye of the Storm"; Steve Pemberton's "A Chance in the World"; and Lisa Bodell's "Kill the Company"----I love to read! |
