About me

Introduction	I have been lucky enough to have had a very interesting and exciting life. I've been a merchant seaman, police officer, intelligence officer, law enforcement academy instructor, gong-fu and self-defense instructor, non-fiction writer and now a novelist. When younger, I played football, hockey and lacrosse, but my first love is sailing. I used to be a competitive sailboat racer but now I just want to relax and do some cruising. I went to China in 2001 and fell in love with the ancient arts and culture. I now divide my time, with my beautiful wife, Tian Yong, between Windsor, ON Canada and Chongqing, China, the world's largest municipality with a population of 34 million people.
