| Introduction | I suppose one could say I am engaging in an effort to absolve myself of my previous sins. This is my second attempt at higher education, after failing as a music major. Once being a music major crashed and burned, I spent a considerable amount of time doing engineering and drafting of phone systems until I was persuaded to return to A- State. I hope to attend law school next fall and afterwards do something in the field of politics and/or law. I have my wife to thank for setting me back on a course towards something, instead of treading water of which I was becoming very proficient. I suppose my greatest fear in life is being bored. Because of this, I have amassed a wealth of “sybaritic activities” in the words of William F. Buckley Jr., in an effort not to feel as though I am wasting time. I truly believe I wasted many, if not most, of my previous years and never want to repeat that again. |
