| Introduction | I'm Abbie Normal, a butch trans poet living with schizophrenia. I'm a Catholic Anarchist, pro-choice and pacifist, who is trying to find some sort of balance during this time of crisis. I use humor, poetry, and self taught visual arts to facilitate this. I'm looking for other artists, writers, and activists of all stripes to help share and spread new forms of LOVING revolt during this time in our Fascist country, which has brought out the worst of us and the best of us. I'm mostly self educated, being a high school dropout who attended a few semesters at a community college on the Pell Grant. I'm no longer able to work due to my schizophrenia, but when I did work it was social work, which still interests me deeply. I'm a voracious bookworm so free libraries or small book shops please get in touch and I'll send you free print copies of my books if I can afford it that month. I used to play in the queercore band Fagatron in the 1990's from Nebraska and let's just say it was fun until it wasn't. I am the author of six books of poetry and a novel. |
