Introduction	Sometimes I stutter when I type...Please let me know if it gets out of hand. I married my favorite person in the whole wide world and am now with our kids full-time which is my favorite job yet. My children are Isaac (April 2008), Bailey (June 2010), and Micah (tentatively planned for August 2012). I was home schooled starting in 5th grade through graduation and then went on to become an RN in 2001 at the ripe age of 19. Working the first few years of my career as a charge nurse for a child and adolescent psychiatric inpatient unit taught me so much about how the world we live in fails to accommodate to the needs and individuality of children. I may not be able to change the world but I can make it better for my own children as I prepare them for the future. Making their education as personally relevant and engaging to them as possible is a step in that direction.
