Introduction | I'm a little over 30 and fighting off a mid-life crisis (or quarter, I plan to be that stubborn old lady who just won't croak). In the last year, I have come to realize that life's curveballs are what makes you stronger, more grown-up, and what makes the good stuff that much sweeter. While I struggle to define adulthood and what I want from it, I'm finding a balance between my professional, social, and love lives, all while hitting snooze on the ever-present biological clock. This, friends, is my attempt to figure out life...blogstyle. |
Interests | Fashion, books, anything hilarious--mostly my friends, hanging with my nephew, and new adventures. |
Favorite movies | I no longer have the attention span for movies. I find they have become a wonderful sedative for me. When I did watch movies, these were my go-tos: Sex and the City, Sex and the City 2, He's Just Not That into You, The Holiday, Someone Like You, and I Love You, Man. |
Favorite music | Most recently, Adele, Cristina Perri, and I strongly feel Green River Ordinance will be the next big thing. Officially, I just rely on my Pandora stations to tell me what's cool. |
Favorite books | Put Your Big Girl Panties on and Deal with It, You Say Tomato, I Say Shut Up, Summer Sisters, The Last Time They Met, and any self-help book I can get my hands on. |
When you've got water stuck in your ear, how do you get it out?
A surf pro once told my SO to warm water in your mouth, then put it in said water-logged ear. SO says it works. I've never tried. I usually let it sit until I get swimmer's ear and become a whiney wreck.
