| Introduction | I am a professional transition pastor for the Presbyterian Church (USA) and a professional life coach. In both roles I specialize in helping others create possibilities. God's new call to a congregation can be discovered as a powerful opportunity in the midst of today's ministry challenges. My articles will be geared toward the importance of worship and preaching during times of transition. I will make comments as to how the lectionary readings could be used to address transition. When I speak of transition, I mean not only that of a pastoral leader, but of all transitions in the life of the congregation and members - new officers, new members, members who are moving away geographically, marriages, births, baptisms, and more. |
