| Introduction | In July 2016, we made a daring choice—to sell everything. Our home, vehicles, businesses—gone! Furniture? Who needs it! We broke free from material possessions, giving away clothes and household items, keeping only cherished family heirlooms. Armed with two backpacks, we bid farewell to the USA, embarking on a nomadic quest. Living in one place, then moving on became our way of life. With a US post office box and an internet phone number, we embarked on a six-year plan to see and do it all. But fate had other plans. In Year Four, Covid struck, forcing us back to the United States. We settled in Washington state, rebuilding our lives. Sixteen years ago, we started a travel club for friends and family. Together, we explored all continents, visiting over 60 countries. Now, in the final stretch of our global plan, we embark on shorter adventures, lasting six to eight weeks, with our favorite companions.
