Introduction I play an instrument called the Euphonium and am training with Drs. Rob Kyr and David Crumb to become a composer, and aim to become a film composer. I play the euphonium in a British-style brass band called Oregon Brass Society. I also have a huge interest in Eastern philosophies - specifically Taoism. My musical interests are mostly classical (especially of the Romantic and Neo-Classical periods), but I also really enjoy New Age and techno music. I love all things Asian (especially Japanese), and am a proud anime nerd! ^_^y Green and Oolong teas are among my favorite things in the world - I drink an entire pot of tea every day, and consider tea to be "the elixir of life". ^_^ My greatest passion is self-improvement, and overcoming the self-concept that is the "ego". We are one, as Life itself - separation is only the separation of concepts. I have a very Taoist approach to life. All concepts exist only in the mind, so what is life like outside the interpretation of the mind?
