| Introduction | Martha J. Rogus started her YouTube channel in 2021 and is also a screenwriter and completed her first feature-length screenplay in 2015 after leaving a PhD program. Her master thesis focused on a marginalized noble whose ancestor inspired Shakespeare's Falstaff. She created a segment for WPSX Penn State TV and shot B roll. Rogus also wrote, edited, and published a video interview of Rev. Dr. Joan Brown Campbell, friend of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Rogus earned her degrees when her two daughters were in high school, after co-owning two successful 1-hour photo developing businesses for twelve years. Her love for film and words merged into one. Rogus teaches college composition part-time. She wrote for: the Times-Observer and did the layout, editing, & photos; PG…Magazine; Mother Earth Magazine; and university annual literary magazines where she won 1st place graduate level, poetry. Rogus has been married to Paul Rogus since 1988. They have two daughters, one son-in-law, one son-in-law hopeful, and several grand-pets. Rogus enjoys making friends and connections, organizing her home, gardening, yoga, running, family and beloved camp, and cooking with her husband. |
