Introduction	As a former employee of Halfway Home Pet Adoptions (currently KCMO Animal Shelter), I have seen and experienced many things! I was part of the complaint filed with the City of KCMO against Dr. W.R. Steckelberg, and I also filed a complaint with the Missouri Veterinary Medical Board. This has been, and continues to be a long journey on the road to changing the way in which KCMO approaches animal sheltering. It is about being realistic, working with the resources available, putting personal feelings/differences aside, focusing on what we can all do together to help, and never losing sight of the goal. To give all animals entering the shelter the best possible chance of a home and a life they deserve! I will document all of my experiences on this blog! I will be honest, and answer any questions presented. Feel free to comment and offer opinions. However, this is not a forum for personal attacks, blame or fighting...take that to FB! Thank you!
