| Introduction | I am a matronly grandmother person whose years and health have made it necessary to pare down my activities. The one I've retained is gardening, though I have to have help. I suspect the day I have to stop gardening is the day I start dying. Husband/Best Friend/Chief Photographer and I have two sons and two daughters, plus one daughter and two sons by love and marriage, plus six grandchildren who keep life hopping. My favorite TV show is the British comedy "As Time Goes By", starring Dame Judi Dench, Geoffery Palmer, and Moira Brooker. Lately it's seemed to me that life keeps us busy doing what must be done, what should be done, and what's expected of us to do; then one day we may go around a corner, so to speak, and, surprise! all of a sudden life is interesting! That is what this opportunity to write about my life and garden has turned out to be - a delightful rounding of a corner - and there YOU are! Welcome to my world! |
