| Introduction | My husband and I were married 9 years ago. We met in a bar which I said I would never do. I guess you should never say never.lol. Three years into our marriage we were once again blessed in our lives with twins what a wonderful gift we were given. I went into labor at 19 weeks gestation and delivered Madison Brook on Sept 28, 2001 she earned her wings at this time also. The girls had seperate sacks so I stayed in the hospital on strict bedrest for 9 weeks when Nichole Josaphine came into our lives. She was born at 27 weeks gestation. She was completly healthy what they call a feeder grower. She was in ICU for 7 weeks. Almost 3 years later we were once again blessed this time with a baby boy Conrad James. He was born 5 weeks early with a diaprhagmatic hernia and hydracephalis (fluid on the brain) he was in the hospital for 13 weeks.He has since had around 16 surgeries most of them before the age of 2. Today we are a happy somewhat normal family. lol:) I feel so blessed to have the family I have. If I was asked if I would do it all over again knowing what lies ahead, I would say yes. I love my family more than words can express. |
