Introduction	This blog is inspired by the ongoing credit crunch. As Chaplin's Modern Times was a marker for the beginning of the end of the mass industrial era, I believe the current crisis marks the end of the economic structure that we have lived with since the end of the second World War and the establishment of Bretton Woods (and its abolition). We will get through this, but it will ask intellectual honesty from all of us to put in place new, more solid foundations to generate new, sustainable patterns of growth in well-being.
