Introduction	For years I have been very active in my community, spent 21 years in the corporate world and thrived on the outdoors. I have a very special daughter who gives me daily insight to my purpose. Despite the diagnosis of MS when I was 27, I lived a very functional lifestyle. However at age 40, in 2006 my world changed drastically due to this illness that is sorely misunderstood and debilitating. I have learned so much, some good and some not so good. My desire is to help others with disability or chronic illness by sharing my experiences in poetry and inspirational writing.
