| Introduction | Married 29 years. 3 wonderful children My principle belief is that we must give back to society and be involved in our democracy and make it work. These principles were learned in School and from a wonderful teacher. In my first freshman class Tom assigned "find a campaign and get involved" I am still involved today. I will always oppose attempts to overturn RvW. A woman deserves the right to choose what happens to her own body. What I personally believe is irrelevant. I fully support Marriage for everyone race, sex or religion should not be an impediment. I actively oppose discrimination of any kind in any law. I oppose the death penalty. I support a balanced budget and a pay as you go government policy, I believe Social Security is a commitment this country made almost 60 years ago to the Middle Class and it MUST fulfill this commitment. I believe that in order to Fix Health Care and open it to every American and keep it affordable then a Public Option is critical. Green Building standards should be a federal requirement of all construction. Wind and Solar Power are the keys to energy independence but new technology needs to be pursued if we want to maintain a strong economy. |
