My blogs
| Introduction | I am a retired Police Officer having served entirely in the South Wales area including Swansea, Neath, Pontardawe and Port Talbot. During this time I served in the Vice Squad, Drug Squad, Stolen Vehicle Squad and 13 years in the Swansea C.I.D. I have also worked extensively in engineering, draughtsmanship and graphic design. Apart from politics I have an abiding interest in vintage cars, and rugby as a player and avid supporter of Wales. I served as the Secretary of the Mumbles Twinning Association and was instrumental in the highly successful twinning of Mumbles and Kinsale in the Irish Republic. I have also been the Chairman of the Swansea Historic Vehicle Register and for many years organised the Singleton Park Vintage Car Fayre held on May Day each year. I have also served as a committee member of Penygroes Rugby Football Club. Whilst a Police Officer I represented South Wales Constabulary Detective Constables on the Police Federation, speaking at annual Conference. |
