| Introduction | I'm 30 something years old and married to my Animal for the last 6 years. When I'm not on this blog, I'm a psychiatrist and mom. We live in Chicago and have two very silly dogs, who were our baby substitute while we struggled with infertility. We tried to conceive for about 2 years through 2 failed IUIs and 1 cancelled one due to an ovarian cyst. Thanks to my first IVF which uncovered that I have very hard eggs, we were blessed with boy/girl twins born on April 3, 2008! The roller-coaster has continued as we attempt to parent these little munchkins. Then, on February 26, 2010, we welcomed our surprise baby and now are trying not to lose control of this crazy roller coaster with 3 kiddos under the age of 3! |
| Interests | Mothering our trio, traveling, yoga, playing with the doggies, trying to make myself a better psychiatrist, pretending like I'm Rachael Ray in the kitchen, and sipping margaritas with good friends. |
