| Introduction | SVIL was incorporated in October, 1997 as a result of a 50:50 JV between Sigma Corporation, India and Phoenix AG, Germany, to manufacture NVH parts and started its operations in the year 1999. In year 2001, Phoenix and Freudenberg, market leaders in NVH parts, merged their anti-vibration divisions and formed a company called Vibracoustic – focused on the Automotive anti-vibration Business with a Global turnover of Euros 750 Mio Euros in 2005. In line with the merger, Sigma Phoenix was renamed as Sigma Vibracoustic India Private Limited on 1st of April 2001.
