Favorite moviesIf it was a "brat pack film" it belongs on the list along with some other obscure 80's teen movies such as "Real Genius" or "War Games", Bourne films, LOTR films, Harry Potter, some girly things, such as: "Bridget Jone's Diary", "The Notebook", "The Wedding Date", "The Holiday", and "How to Loose a Guy In Ten Days", and anything with Billy Bob Thorton or John Cusak in it.
Favorite musicI'm a huge Floyd fan and I also adore U2. Anything that could be considered rock music from the 70's - the late 90's, including grunge. I am not big on country or jazz, but I enjoy classical music (especially Chopin, Dvorak, Listz, Puccini, and Mendelssohn), the blues, Sinatra, Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald and a few other odds and ends.
Favorite booksThe Bell Jar, She's Come Undone, White Oleander, Finding Alice, A Short History of Nearly Everything, Me Talk Pretty One Day, The Bookseller of Kabul, The Kite Runner, Reading Lolita in Tehran, A Thousand Splendid Suns, How the Garcia Girls Lost Their Accents, Life of Pi, A Girl's Guide to Hunting and Fishing, The Secret Life of Bees, Ellen Foster, The Great Gatsby, The Bridegroom and Other Short Stories, I'll Take You There, Jane Eyre, The Lovely Bones, A Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, War and Peace, A People's History of the United States, High Lonesome; The Collected Works of Joyce Carol Oates (the writer I aspire to be), 1984, Tender is The Night, Mainstreet, Grendal, and Beowulf. I pretty much adore anything by Joyce Carol Oates, Sylvia Plath, Tolstoy, Asne Seierstad, V.S. Naipaul, David Sedaris, Ha Jin, the Bronte Sisters, Bill Bryson, and Willa Cather. I am also in love with J.K. Rowling and her fantastic muggle mind.

If you could peer far enough into the night sky, you'd see a star in any direction you looked. When would you sleep?

"We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars." - Oscar Wilde" Sleep? I wouldn't.
