| Introduction | I promised myself that one day I would relocate and leave behind with some permanence my Indiana roots, that time is upon me. My Florida drivers license captures the spirit if not the exact location of where I want to be. Islandscapes is the result of adventures I experienced in St. Lucia, West Indies where I have worked and played. It evolved into a blog about landscaping which is my profession, travels and the things I spot along the way in life. My career has carried me to southwest FL and I have just started work for a large landscaping company after selling my landscaping business of thirty years. Rolling south on I 75 with two dogs, two cats, a van and trailer, a box truck, a car and three men was just the beginning of my new life. It has been a long time since I worked the dirt in this state and I am excited to make the change. |
