| Introduction | I was a single parent of a severely disabled young man who was born with an extremely rare genetic mutation and required total care. In my corporate career, I worked for many years as a Senior Account/Relationship Manager in the healthcare industry. I gave up my corporate career a long time ago to care for my son since daycare for severely disabled children was not available. During that time, I started my own business as a Professional Organizer so I could work part-time when he was at school. My son had a progressive neurological disease so I transitioned to his full time caregiver after that. He passed away in 2019. |
