Introduction	My name is Dexter Rogers and I am a journalist. I've been publishing commentary for 23 years. My work has been either published or referenced in the New York Times, USA Today, ESSENCE, Slam Magazine and others. I've also done national television commentary as well. While I write about an array of topics my favorites are sports, social issues, current events, education, and history. I have a special area of interest that peaks my inquisitive nature and that's how racism in society aligns with the racism that exists in sports. to American sport. America often seeks to restrict voices who disseminate perspective that challenges mainstream thought. Also, African-American journalists are vastly under represented in mainstream newspapers. Over 90 percent of all information we process comes from a white male perspective. This must change and I seek to do my part in making it happen. My chief aim is to share my vantage point with the world. I look forward to hearing from you.
