| Introduction | Welcome to the blog of my journey to Challenge Almere, another battle with the 226 KM that make up a long distance triathlon. http://www.challenge-almere.com/ This will be my 4th Ironman distance triathlon having completed Ironman Austria, New Zealand and Lake Placid. My aim is to beat my previous best time of 14 hours and 15 minutes which I did in 2011 at Lake Placid. The blog also serves a dual purpose of helping me complete a 'book' on behalf of Safe Space, a Dunfermline based charity for the survivors of sexual abuse.
