About me

Introduction My name is Eleanor Gray and I am a junior studying English. I live in the countryside, just outside of a small town in Minnesota that has only one stoplight, which hardly ever turns red past 11PM on most days. I enjoy spending time on my parent’s small farm. We keep a herd of around 50 ewes and about the same number of beef cows. Both groups of livestock can be spotting grazing on the land not suitable for conventional farming, probably enjoying the sloping hills of central Minnesota. My parents never required me to get a job off the farm, so I’ve developed an enormous reading and writing addiction. I hope to translate this into some sort of paying occupation that allows me to have a comfortable, relatively happy life. Little known fact about me is that I'm the person who writes the Nature Notes email CSB/SJU students receive from the Arboretum each Wednesday.
